Get External URL for a Kaltura Video

This page will take a Kaltura URL from Brightspace and convert it to a URL that can be used outside of Brightspace. In order to find the Kaltura media URL:

1. Log into Brightspace with your NetID and password.
2. Click on My Media in the green bar on the home page.
3. Find the video you wish to use.
4. Click on the title to open the video on its own page.
5. Copy the URL from the address bar of your browser.
6. Paste the URL into the form below.
7. Press Submit and the new URL should load below the form.
